Leaving my job/notice period
Discussion
Hi
I have been working at the company I am at for just over 3 months, I had been offered an amazing job and therefore want to leave, the new company want me to start ASAP. However I have holiday booked all next week but will not have accrued enough holiday to cover my one week notice period.
Do you have to physically be at work during your notice period? Also I have not had a copy of my contract yet, I have signed it but not had a copy.
I get paid on 31st and I am worried if I hand my notice in the wrong way the may not pay me.
Thanks

You can actually just leave......
Although 1 weeks notice should be given after working for the company for longer than 1 month.
