Help

Battery died on my 2002 996 C4 Cab, bought a new battery and changed it and in the process successfully blew the fuses for the PCM

On renewing them and entering the codes for the PCM, all the modules work except for the audio module (says there is no cd, cassette present nor can it find a radio station) and in addition no sound from the speakers when using the sat nav or telephone.

Anybody have any ideas or have i f--ked the PCM

I think the PCM & radio have seperate codes, have used both, if not this "may" be the cause ! Best of luck.

Found the problem, took the PCM out and there is another fuse at the back, replaced this and it is all fine and dandy now

I have had the same problem after a long hot run. No sound but other functions OK. I have PCM1 - which module did you pull out to find the fuse ? the Sat Nav CD reader I am guessing ?

Cheers

I assume you have checked the 2 fuses which relate to the PCM1 by the drivers footwell first

To remove the PCM, you need to remove the fascia that goes around the PCM first, then you can slide the PCM out, the fuse is at the rear of the PCM

Hope this helps
