What Car for 3K

I am drving a MR2 turbo GTS, which i love however after 4years of ownership i am fancying a change. The only question what? I have looked at M3 and TT supras but cannot justify the addational cost for the car, so i was just wondering if anyone could give me some inspiration for a 3k car that is a fun as the MR2?

I quite fancy an RX7 as a bit of a project... Might be a tad over your budget though.

Funny enough I did look at these along with the 330, and am still thinking about it. Although not sure it stirs my soul. Need to drive one to see how they stack up

i had one back in the day 328ci - special car.

No disrespect but if you are turbo nut its a very different sort of pleasure you get.

M3 is epic but probably not on your budget.
