Bought my 450 a couple of months ago and after it was aired on here the hardcore guys asked wot mods were to be made!!
Well made a start-just replaced all hoses with ACT blue silicone, at the same time replaced the thermostat as I changed this the other week and fitted a standard Rover V8, the car ran too hot as the bore is smaller on these (you live and learn !)
ACT full induction kit and Pipercross filter.
Car was a pain in the a**e when hot in traffic and also had erratic idle, went to check the stepper motor- it literally fell apart in my hands! so new one fitted
So all in all what a difference in drive, so much smoother (idle valve I assume) and certainly feels quicker on the road and now looking smarter under the bonnet too.
17" Team Dynamics Equinox on their way, just being machined
Have to stop reading the upgrade posts, its going to cost a fortune

Thanks bud, so pleased with it been having a really good look at chassis, god knows where this has been, its done 50K but the chassis is mint, original paint, etc, got a full history and heads up to its previous owners, paid 12K and I reckon it was worth every penny,I had a good look when I bought it but its exceeded my expectations and I,m a fussy git !!

Drove a well tweeked 500Griff the other day with that combo on,it drove and handled really good, Toyo dont do a 215x40 in the T1 Sport and the old toyos have been discontinued, was a bit concerned as you had said about the sizes but must say really pleased with the results
A few people on here have said the 45 profile is a better ride?sheel said:
Happy with the 45s, car is now well behaved,as I said no tramlining,Ok maybe it should be a 40 profile but with the originals it was plain nasty, the new ones need scrubbing in a bit but so far its a to
tally different car, will report back when they have done a few miles
Your car sits a little flat, the idea of creating a larger wall height is to compennsate for having equal size wheels front and rear.if you dont have the car in a high rear stance you may get light steering when accelerating ..tally different car, will report back when they have done a few miles
The 15" and 16"(matching wall heights) wheels were fitted for more than aesthetics,to allow for the immense torque .I would lift the rear ride height to compensate.
Measure under the outrigger triangler plate to the floor, you should have at least 1" difference front to rear.

Thanks for that Daz, without measuring I can almost def say ,no there wont be 1" difference as the wheels are only about 1/2" different in dia. However I can confirm the following, I took it out yesterday and gave it full beans in a variety of situations on a variety of roads and it behaved impecably, far better than it was before on the originals, even on full bore up to silly speeds it was dead stable and inspired total confidence
