Swapping the trim at the weekend. Have tried to pull it off by prising between the glass and the trim tonight and it cracked into bits. Looks like there is fixings under the door rubber. Nothing ( as usual, sadly) in the Haynes for removing the door rubber. Does this just prise out to show the fixings Or what? Help..........

Just prise door rubber out and there's 5 screws behind it, undo them and then lift up from windscreen side

Cheers gents...........will report back after the weekend.........
Also the window is a bit slow on the passenger side. Is it just a case of remving the inner panel and greasing the runners and pivots?

Is leave that job to the pros, they're a pain in the arse doorglasses on the mini, I'm talking from experience, you have to take the entire door apart to get to mechanism

Stripped the door rubber and behind was 4 posidrive screws. Undone and trim fell off, due to being split, although the foam strip was gluing it on. Soon removed it. The second hand panel had the foam on, so spray glued the edge and stuck it on to the pillar. All done in 5 minutes.
Next stripped the door panel off. Plenty of room in the door to spray grease the runners and excercised it up and down. Job done and panel back on in 10 minutes. Then the rear number plate lights. Plastic lenses are knackered. So cleaned the terminals and the led bulbs in there and siliconed the lense back in.Need some new ones really, but all jobs completed.
