C250 CDi - v - C350CDi Update!

Re my similarly titled thread earlier in the week, just returned from a lengthy test of both versions and call me shallow, call me a spendthrift, call me many similar adjectives but..................it's gotta be the V6 I'm afraid. The 250 was surprisingly torquey and quite eager but it just lacks the refinement or urgency of the V6.

It really makes no sense for me to go with the 350 but, hell, when was buying a new car ever a sensible decision anyhow? So just negotiating now over the trade in value for my current CLK, and should be able to get the new car for mid March.

If you plan to keep the car for a number of years, the extra cost of getting the C350 and that smooth and rounded engine sound would be negligible and IMHO worth it.
