Can anyone suggest any routes which are likely to be better than the bog standard directions (aka http://goo.gl/4oDfM)?

I've just got my hands on a DB9 so am keen to check out some nice open roads in it!

watch yourself along the corridor. thats the bit from calais, across to the belgian border, and then upto and around the corner at jabeke. both the french and belgian police are, "keen" on these stretches.
not as bad at night time
