I used my roadster all year round & the roof comes down if it isn't raining.
I was grumpy but accepted I could not have heated light weight seats whne I ordered the car.
Having fitted seat heaters to my S2000 I know it's not that involved.
So after a bit of research I have now got all the bits to fit them to my Vantage S clap
I'll post some pics up when I do it.
The only bit scaring me is putting a hole through an expensive carbon fibre seat scratchchin

The more detail the better would be appreciated as I would be very tempted to do the same in my S Roadster.

Are you planning to put an element in the removable centre of the backrest too ?

I have carbon fibre elements that can be cut to form for the backs and bases in both seats.

I'd be interested to know how you do this - I've previously fitted Waeco heated seat pads, which are pretty cheap and cheerful.

I used those in the S200o as they fitted well with no need to trim, wasn't that impressed with the quality either.
These ones are from a VAG group supplier and can be trimmed to shape!

Imteresting thread... This could push me into looking for lightweight seats - second hand, they must exist. Someone will have permanently bent a DBS/V12V by now. I would then remove the rears as well.

No interest in having a modern ragtop without seat heaters, nice to have them for all year round driving. Even used them blatting back from the circuit to the cottage about 3am last year during Le Mans!

Had them on in the 911 today to and from work smile

Lewis +1 to that... cam in handy at 5.30 this morning... infact my better half never turns them off.... that said a heated S/wheel would be nice... my RR keeps my hands toasty allo year round.

It does beg the question though Mikey, why did you spec the lightweight seats? smile

Bit of an update
I deconstructed the drivers seat to see how I could get the elements in and where to locate the switches.
Came to a grinding halt when I found all the cushions are all held together with velcro and have a plastic stiffening bar across the front of the cushions on 4 places.
Perfectly placed to prevent the elements being positioned across the whole front face.
Game over frown
