Hi Peeps
Just wanted say a big thumbup and thank you to the RAC for spending more time than they had to and for not giving up on my SX!!
She only came back on wednesday of this week, so yesterday i made sure she ready for a little drive,i turned her over but she just would'nt fire up and she was having none of it..
So today i waited for the frost to clear to have another go! again nothing confused so i called RAC, you should of seen the smile on his face when he saw what he going to work on!!

Anyway all ok now she was just being too greedy with the fuel and flooding herself... RAC guy stayed to make sure she was fit and well again before he left, so you can guess what i did for the next hour or two drivingwoohoowoohoo that noise its like a drug!!!! nine months is far to long to be without that spine tingling noise and the whistle of you know what !!!
I'm back and i love it cheers

Nice one martin...I bet he wasnt smiling as much as you..Funny you should say that though as last year one of the MANY RAC chaps that came to my aid actually said.."Yes".."A real car to work on"...My fuel pump wire had broken off.. He then confessed after replacing about two foot of wiring that if i had a modern car that he would of only fixed it temporarily and sent me to a garage..What a naughty nice chap..hehe
Now get some smiley miles on that 400....driving...woohoo..

beer...Ziga

Bottom of the page! The AA guy did say that when he had heard the call was for an old TVR, he feared the worst!!!

RAC and AA guys have a tendency to restore your faith in humanity whenever you need them.

Never met one who wasn't a top bloke.

Genuinely pleasant people who always seem to help more than you think they need to.

I actually witnessed the relief on his face when he looked at the cars wiring and realised it had a colour coded wiring loom and not all black wiring! like his last TVR call out!
