Possibly a stupid or over-analysing question, but do you adjust your tyre pressures depending on the outside temperature?

I know it isn't recommended to put air into hot tyres because once they cool down the actual PSI reading will be different by a good few PSI, so now that it's close to freezing outside, if the book says 32psi, would you inflate so the meter says 32psi if the car is sat cold on the drive?

I believe that manufacturer's recommended tyre pressures are based on an ambient temperature of 15 deg C

I would therefore asume that if it is really cold, you may need to take 1 or 2 psi off the recommended pressure, assuming you haven't driven the car and warmed up the tyres
