My New Woodrim Steering Wheel
Discussion
Hi guys, fitted my new 'Personal' woodrimmed steering wheel today, see pic below. The wheel looks a much better colour than the pic shows, and it's really great quality. Believe it or not it cost me absolutely nothing!! It came to me some three years ago (before the Griff arrived) brand new in the box from my father in law who picked a load of gear up for a boot sale and wondered if I would like the wheel!! It has been stored in the loft of my garage ever since. Whilst rummaging over the Christmas break I re-discovered it and was pleased to see it was the same brand and fitment as fitted to the Griff, what a stroke of luck. It came with the spoke pads as currently fitted but can have it without. I think it looks good, so will try it for a while. Pete

Personally I'm not keen on the big black trim in the middle, especially as your trim is such a light grey. Does the black trim come off?
Yes, the black trim does come off. The spokes are satin aluminium. I shall try it for a while and then take the centre black trim off and try it with that, it just pushes on, need to take the horn button off first. As a freeby thought it worth trying as it was so easy to fit. Pete7 TVR said:
+1
I will use it for a while with the black centre pad on, then take it off and try the wheel with just the satin aluminium spokes (they would match more my dash and trim colours). As I said previously, it cost me nothing so can always put back the original 'Personal' black steering wheel. PeteGassing Station | Griffith | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
