fk no! That blue is a stunning colour! The red one's nice too.

I don't like the yellow one though.

You are in a very fortunate position smile have you driven any or all of these?

For me it would only be between the Porsche (I dont think it looks gay at all) and the Nissan, the Nissan would almost definitely take it though. I just like Japanese cars, go with your gut feeling. smile

I agree, there is something about that Nissan - red really suits it.

335d,the overlord of all cars.

Seriously, GTR first, then Ferrari, then the 911.

You know the 911 in some form or shape is always going to be around, the GTR is like Godzilla, odd, rare and destructive. I think the Ferrari is really dry weekend day car.

Do you really buy a car like one of those with your head?
That Ferrari is not my thing, but if you went for the Porsche would you drive it and regret not having the Ferrari?

Personally, GTR. Am I the only one who think it looks best in purple though? (I understand it's not a factory option for some reason!)

If its a daily - the 996T
If its dry day fun - the yellow one - the fact its on the short list means you want one, may as well get it over and done with!
Red one? - I don't like brutish looking cars

The GTR is the thinking mans sports car. That porsche looks wk imo. The fezza is always going to be pretty and sound nice but it is a bit old fashioned. Depends on wether you want modern performance (less reliant on talent) or old fashioned performance. Personally i'd have the ferrari but the GTR will be easiest to drive everyday.... I wouldn't care wink

All Great Cars

Depends what you want it for?

  • Regular use, 996 turbo. Mega fast, very reliable and reasonable to run (ish)!
  • Weekend posing (traffic light Grand Prix), GTR. Clio bate, will impress the playstation generation!
  • Modern Classic for summer weekends, 355. Drive on a Saturday, polish it on a Sunday. Should hold its value now and should be reasonable to maintain due to light use (although, it is a Ferrari at the end of the day ££££)! Plus low insurance on a Classic Policy ;0)
The 996t and GTR have hyper performance, but I'm sure the 355 is fast enough to wake the senses on a spirited cross country drive (and will sound the best whilst your at it)!

There, Easy!

Oh, I don't know.

Right now, the Porsche. Tomorrow, maybe the old Ferrari with the astronomical running costs, then I'd regret not buying the sensible Nissan.

"Sensible"... I know everyone bangs on about how awesome it is, but I just can't help but feel, if I had one, as I climbed into my sensible, clinical Japanese automobile, I'd wish I'd bought ze equally ballistic German or the wild Italian.

Thanks, righty

Whichever I go for will get driven. I've looked into the funds needed to properly run one. I'm ok with the amount needed.

I will drive whichever I buy 4 or 5 times per week. Sometimes on the 4 mile journey to work, sometimes out for a thrash, and sometimes, well, just for the hell of it.

I don't give a monkeys chuff what other people think of anyone who drives one of these.

I just can't decide which;

When I have to do the M1 in rush hour the stereo, interior and toys of the GTR appeal, but then the noise of a 355 - well....... and then, the 996T, by far the cheapest of the three, but not a huge fan of 4WD.

not an easy one this,
996 turbo then! My brother in-law has one, it does everything you could possibly want. I'm into old school 911's but would have one of these in a flash if I was in the market for a high performance car for regular use.

Drive all of them and decide.

Ferrari wouldn't even be on my shortlist of those 3.

GTR is a bit big in real life.
996 isn't the most desireably 911. Well maybe in the 'man version' GT2 wink

what, 4 or 5 times per week!!

It would bankrupt you in no time, plus a fortune in hire car costs whilst it off the road!

Hmm, as you imply, it's a nice problem to have.

All three are lovely but, if I were to die tomorrow, its only the 355 that i'd regret not having owned. If / when I'm lucky enough to afford / justify chucking circa £50k on a motor, its where my money is going.

Of those 3 the GTR, not because I am a fan, but because I like the other 2 less. If the Porsche was in a different colour and didn't have those graphics on the side it would be a tougher decision. Swap the 355 for a red 360 and that would take the top spot.

I have suggested cars totally different to your options, haven't I? smile
