Just looking at the sunday papers and there's a piece on the front of one business section that reports Dany Bahar (Lotus chief executive) is trying to find a backer with pockets that are have a depth of £500m. It's also reported that Proton has a new majority shareholdee - DRB-Hicom.
Lotus Cars made a pre-tax loss of £21.4m last year. Genii already owns the Lotus Formula one team and has nearly completed due dilligence on the Lotus Cars.
