Midnight Run 2012 (Landsend to Lowesoft 4th Aug)
Discussion
Hi,
Check out my free event. It's hopefully a FUNdraiser for the low profile heros that volunteer their time for SERV (aka bloodrunners). Serv deliver blood for hospitals & baby milk for newborn babies out of hours to save the NHS some of the extortionate costs to arrange a courier privately
http://www.facebook.com/events/211476415598160/
Cars & bikes welcome. So far we have the following vehicles involved;
Civic type R ('04)
Mazda rx7
Elise mk2
Audi TT
Mitsubishi L200
Honda Fireblade CBR954
Honda firestorm vtr1000
KTM RC8
Honda VFR 400
Suzuki sv650s
Mini Cooper S (supercharged version)
E36 alpina
Nissan pulsar (270 bhp)
& a few more I can't remember off the top of my head
Please note, this isn't a race or time trial. It's a road trip with like minded people who are looking for quality time with friends & their machines.
My contact details are on the event blurb on Facebook. Thanks

This all sounds very familiar!
Nice to see that quite a few other groups have picked up the gauntlet over the last couple years.
Have a great time!

Indeed! I think there's potentially lots of people interested in doing this, since they don't have to be well funded, take a lot of time off work, or leave the country to tick off this motoring challenge. It'll be a sunrise to remember

Hi found this post while trying to find an affordable Gumball style roadtrip to do for my stag weekend. Does anybody know of one coming up this year? I would be up for doing the Midnight Run but as my wedding is on the 4th of August I dont think it would go down well!!
Thanks in advance Russ

might be wrong, but i thing it's an overnight run from landsend to lowestoft.... leave landsend as the sun sets and try to get to lowestoft as the sun rises.... it was a top gear challenge for jez not too long ago.... so you won't be needing a hotel, just red bull for the drive home in the morning!
