Bad parenting

As per the title I really would like to take my 8 year old son on a passenger ride on a track day. Any idea how?

Just put him in the boot. He's small enough to fit and no-one will spot him there.

I think most trackdays have a minimum age limit of 16.

Pay for your wife to be a passenger. They usually give passenger's a wristband - once she's got this, chop her hand off with something sharp (don't forget to cauterize the wound) and I've no doubt the wristband will still be big enough to slip over your sons wrist. Put him in some female clothes and perhaps paint his fingernails, so that once he's got a helmet on he just looks like a small woman.

Perhaps pop into A&E on the way home to make sure your wife's wound doesn't have an infection.

Take him to the 'Ring on a Tourist session.

The only way you will get him out on track normally is if he holds a race licence and is out with a suitably qualified race licence.
Other than that, most TDO's will have a 16 age limit for passengers.

My son was 4 when he did his first lap of the Ring with me - daughter about 12 months.

RAF Valley on Anglesea hold a charity track day late in the summer (Sept?). It's a decent circuit they set out but it's a sessioned day but... They don't have a min' age limit for passengers.
I didn't go last year but assume they still run it.
