On Ebay, I have always fancied one and I know they are rare to say the least. Some previous posts on here point to them being very expensive to run. Has anyone owned one here. I have had trouble finding out what would make them specifically more expensive to run than a regular XJ-S V12. Are there loads of Lister specific parts or something? I have owned 2 V12 XJ-S coupes previously and didn't really experience anything out of the ordinary or particularly expensive or was I just lucky?

This car is on Ebay. A while ago I would have thought it was "cheap" though some digging reveals there have been one or two sell for about 15k and it sounds like they didn't exactly fly away at that.

Ignore the fact the interior of this car looks like a 70's house of ill repute - that would have to be toned down a bit. But I do like the muscular looks of the Listers...

If the link doesn't work just search for Lister or XJS on Ebay, there aren't too many to sort through...!

A 13,000 mile 7 litre Lister convertible sold at Bonhams Goodwood Revival auction last year for £27k.

They seemed to have moved up in price as I paid less than 9k for a coupe in 2000.
