As always when I see a car I have no idea what is, PH is here to help!

It looked a little like the boxy lotus elan, particularly from behind, but more rounded and lower to the ground. Looked kind of "space shippy" too...

Any ideas?

Hmmm - I wouldn't call the M100 "boxy". Lardy, maybe - but definitely not boxy wink

Like a Mk 3 MR2, you mean?

(I'm guessing you'd recognise one of those! But I'm trying to get a vague size/shape in my head.)

He probably means 'boxy' compared to the 60's Elans.

Vegantune Evante? Not really boxy but scores high marks for the "Elan-but-different" bit.

None of those I'm afraid. Less straight lined than all of those! I know I said it looked like the elan, but in size and the rear lights looked very simlar. Much more "space shippy"... lol. I think the front may have rounded off, with a splitter either side of the nose...?

hehe If I could think of a better word to describe it, I would.

Kind of like a love child of a Elan, Ariel Atom and this...

Nope, smaller more nimble looking, and less boxy. Comparing it to the "boxy" elan might have been a bad idea.

Joking aside... I'm sorry OP but I can't visualise what you're getting at. I eagerly await anyone else's ability to help though. I'm intrigued!

A few more clues OP?

Was it a convertible or a hard top?
Did you catch the reg prefix?
