Has anyone ever had a problem like this. After arming the alarm it will sit for about 1 1/2 hours with no problems, then the alarm starts to go off. The indicators don't flash, to be honest I'm not sure if they are supposed to, and when I use the fob to turn it off it doesn't respond, although the car does lock/unlock off the fob and the indicators flash as per the normal arm/disarm sequence while the siren continues to sound.
Eventually it will reset but the tell tale LED doesn't flash to show what triggered it.
In my mind it points towards a knackered siren. Any help or thoughts are appreciated.

Don't they have a re-chargeable battery as a backup/tamper proof ?? My house alarm started playing up when the re-chargeable battery was on it's way out. Quick swop of that and all was well. Not a car I know but alarms not much different I don;t think.

Have you checked for water ingress in the control box? Siren just makes the noise, trigger is in the control unit? Some older alarms used to work on a voltage drop (like when you opened a door and the light would trigger it) Is there any chance you have an iffy boot light switch that might be triggering it. Try unplugging the light and see if it still happens.

Carl will sort you out if you can't fix it he is the Meta/TVR Guru.

When I leave the hatch open and set the alarm it gives the chirp to say that everything is not shut.
I did think about water ingress causing the siren to sound. I'm thinking that as the control isn't turning off the siren that it doesn't think anything is wrong and doesn't know the siren is sounding hence the tell tale not flashing
