Good evening!

Following from a previous thread I have decided to take the plunge! After a horrendous year due to personal reasons, things are finally turning themselves around. Secured a permanent contract at work after 4 and a half years temporary and I turn 30 in April so I thought STUFF IT!

Picked the car up yesterday after an agonising wait to have my reg transferred and I haven't been out of it since. Car is a "lowly" 2.7 boxster with the following spec:

GT silver
PCM
Bose
Phone module
PASM
Electric seats
Sports steering wheel
Short shifter
Extended black leather
Rear park assist
Xenons
FPSH

Here are a few quick pics that i took after giving it a wash this afternoon. The light was fading fast and the car was boxed in on the driveway so I will get better ones up soon including the interior if anyones interested. After seriously doubting the black wheels on the car, seeing them in the flesh I quickly changed my mind. I realise that they may be a bit marmite but you can let me know your thoughts.

No plans for the car other than enjoying it fully! May fit a Mobridge iPod connection as I do like my music. Opinions on this welcome!

Cheers

David

Congratulations on the purchase and enjoy it!

Ref the wheels, as long as you like them, thats all that matters.

Lovely car!

Sounds like you deserve it. Well done on the permanent contract too. My girlfriend has been temporary for 2 years, ends in July again. It sucks living from year to year, always having to be wary of spending anything.

Enjoy your car and well done! thumbup

When was reading your post was thinking black wheels. Silver boxster. Doesn't sound promising!

But seeing the pictures I actually think it looks good!

Enjoy and well done!!!

Looks great - I've got one too... Best thing I ever bought and most fun I have ever had. I'm very lucky to have mine.

Enjoy it in good health!

Nice icing on the cake for you. Nothing like things going right for a change after tough times.

The colour combo looks really nice as well. And as 'See Ya' would say, hope every mile is a smile for you.

Great stuff, enjoy to the max, what stopped you on the S, insurance?

PS, my guess is you enjoy spec more than performance, but I thought I would ask wink

Looks good. I'd definitely go for the Mobridge or Dension if you like your music.

I went for the latter and it has been well worth the outlay for me to have full music and phone integration without the hassle and expense of removing the PCM.

Looks great! I like the silver black combo as well. Just a thought, but how about painting the side grills black as well.
