clk 230 ... turbo mod?

So i got my hands on a mechanically sound clk230 kompressor recently, and i have a choice of keeping it as is and focusing on the body or making it into something special. Ive never heard of anyone ever removing the superchager and putting a turbo on one, the engines are already designed for forced induction (however very low boost) which means i wont need to fiddle with the electrics too much other than a remap and some timing changes. However i just wanted to ask wether anyone has any ideas on wether or not the engine would b able to handle much more power, as thier really isnt any merc mods out there (forged internals etc..) and ive never worked with a german engine before. Btw im only looking for like 310 hp i dont want a beast, just a unique machine
