As my mother used to say, "You can do what you like, just be aware that I will find out, and if you don't want that to happen, make sure that you don't do it in the first place"

Basically, If you can't do the time don't do the crime.

I remember someone telling me (about 15 year ago) about a bloke that had been banned and had applied for a new licence at a different address with his first name and middle names swapped. Fair enough but 20 years on you could still be done for the crime.
