Midnight, looking forward to a mediocre KFC, but new Folkestone motorway services "Stop24" closes at 11pm!

Grrrr. I was tired and hungry but is it just me? http://www.stop24.co.uk/

hmm why do they use the number "24" in their name if it has nothing to do with their level of service

Found a comments board for Stop24, including this gem,

"i was in the gents toilets and i was washing my hands and one of your toilet cleaners (she had a name badge on,... her name was KATIE BANNISTER) gave me and my son a load of aggro because we had left a bit of soap around the sink,... she was swearing and causing a right commotion....... i live within the shepway district council area and i am sure that i have seen this woman in the past working as a toilet cleaner for the council"

the worst motorway services (and motorways) I've ever experienced are in Belgium.

I presume because on their website it offers parking (as in 'stop') for 24 hours (as in the '24' part), For 5 pounds no less.

Perhaps, but the sign visible from the m'way and on the building states "Stop24 Services", hence disappointment at no services

Sounds more like they're campaigning to put an end to 24 hour services to me.

Well they've obviously stopped the 24 hours services, so the sign is correct, if a little outdated smile

Once had to stay at overnight at a hotel within a motorway services as my cars lights all failed as I turned them on at dusk, some 300miles from home.

It was a grim experience, they were open 24 hours but it was little concession. Who the hell chooses to use these hotels?
