No reason whatsoever.
There are load of after market wheels to choose from, and just as much info about them in other threads on here. Many have put 17" on all four corners, many have put 18" on all four corners too. You can maintain the slight nose-down attitude of the car by choosing appropriate tyre sizes. Either that, or put 17" on the front and 18" on the rear.
But unless you get them with acceptable offsets and with acceptable tyre sizes you will run into handling issues and possibly suffer from the tyres rubbing on the wheel arches when the suspension compresses over bumps or you turn the front wheels towards full steering lock.
Some like the after market wheels, some prefer the originals - its very much a personal choice.
I have Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s on mine; 17" front, 18" rear. They do them in the correct offset sizes as the originals and I choose tyres that gave me as close as damn it to the original rolling circumference. I love them, but it does change the handling of the car; it is now more sensitive in the steering and more twitchy at high speed, due to the reduced side-wall depth on the lower profile tyres.
Before (ignore that its a Griff)

I agree everyone has their own personal viewBut unless you get them with acceptable offsets and with acceptable tyre sizes you will run into handling issues and possibly suffer from the tyres rubbing on the wheel arches when the suspension compresses over bumps or you turn the front wheels towards full steering lock.

I have 18 inch wheels. I like the look of them. Rides a little harder. I noticed no difference in how it handles when changing from standard. Other people have had different experiences though.
See here for recent debate.
