Is it easy or even possible to amend one's PH name slightly? Or do you have to rejoin and start again?

Do I just change the login name and update? Does it reset the post count?

Yes. It just changes your username.

Trying to change it to a two-word name but get 'Login name should not contain any special characters, please choose just numbers or letters' warning. Is a space a special character now? Perhaps this is one for you Shaw Tarse?

Only going on what I've read, it's a fairly new thing, spaces used to be allowed, not any more. Also its now a 3 letter minimum. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I think the use of special characters in a user name messes up quoting.

The ability to use spaces was lost last year IIRC, along with hyphens, apostrophies etc. A complicated coding issue? However, if you ask nicely, and you can find them, the PH techies may make an exception, A Team stylee. (Along with the usual donations to their favourite drinking establishment etc etc)
