Update list above, very impressed that it beats the Cayman R, take it the Spyder weighs less than the Cayman R then?Struggling to find times for the Carreras, can only find times for Gen1 C2S, which is surprisingly good, though no doubt done by another driver from EVO at the time and obviously on different days, but still a good result for the Carrera.

Right well mines just gone up in value lol!! That's seriously impressive pace. Throw some sticky tyres into the equation and your looking at one hell of a nippy car.
Faster than:
E92 V8 M3 1:25.1
SL65 AMG Black 1:25.2
New M5 1:25.7
Aston V12 Vantage 1:25.8
1M 1:25.9
Almost as quick as an SLS Gullwing 1:24.6

Always amazes me these results. I am glad the spyder did well.
I know it isn't just down to lap times in order to rank cars or judge their merits, but I would just expect a bigger gap to some of the other cars.
1.4 slower than a 997 gt3, 1.3 slower than 997 turbo s. A c2s is also hot on their heels.
Doesn't seem too much of an advantage in comparison to the cost of the vehicles?
I just expect the two mentioned to simply blow away the spyder. But then looking at the circuit, it doesn't seem like a place where greater power would hold the advantage.
Imagine a spyder with a 3.8!

I've driven Bedford a few times, there is certainly a good mix of corners and the back straight is great for stretching a cars legs. I think we also have to remember that Porsche don't make a bad handling or slow car, they are all superb. I believe they use a different track layout Gibbo. Long back straight isn't used on the west circuit. I reckon the full track is close to 4 miles long, so it would be going some to do it in 1min 24 secs!

Does anybody know if the current lap times in Evo are on the same circuit as the old list? In other words is the current west circuit the same track as the old list or has it been changed?
Same track, but different day, different atmospheric conditions and no doubt a different driver.
Hence why as good as lap times are, they are not a 100% comparative science.
Still at end of the day WE ALL LOVE STATS.

I am very happy to see the Gen1 C2S with such a good lap time, must have been a good driver.
