Thinking of selling my cherished Z4M,would anyone know the approx value if i was to sell late spring, its 2008 covered 15k miles in silver and is in superb condition, it doesnt have navigation. There does not seem too many 08 cars about to compare. Thanks in advance

Assuming it's got a full service history (i.e. serviced every 2 years at a minimum if the car doesn't do a lot of mines) including the running in service, then depending on the colour scheme and options, you should easily get somewhere between £19k and £20k privately.

The above is based on the price of a dealer Z4M Coupé that's advertised for £23k - so take £2k off for dealer profit, £1k off for roadster vs coupé and whatever else off for options/condition/service history.

You'll get a better price in the spring but they have softened quite a bit. At the moment I would say £17,500 to £18,500 you won't see £20k I'm afraid.

Yer unfortunately I would take the above estimate, 20k sounds (unfortunately) sillily when u can pick up a 07 with albeit more miles for 12-13 with toys, I've got a 57 plate coupe in ok condition but I'd be amazed if it made it anywhere near to 15.... frown

I paid 22k, 12months ago for an 08 with full history 12k miles with Sat Nav + toys and that was the best one I could find. So i'd be supprised, but delighted, if you could get 20k plus now. I'd say 18500 to 19500. Still a rare and very desirable car and yes there aren't may 08 plates around.

An 08 plate car with such low miles is a rare beast! It's £18,995 all day long and don't shift more than £250.

Don't worry about the lack of navigation, that's not what people buy a Z4 M. More importantly is how it's been maintained, how many owners, did it have the M Power run in service, has it been regularly serviced, maintained, cleaned and loved etc. Enthusiast buy M cars, and we want the scream of a straight six and the feeling of driving a car that requires skills and understanding, not has it got navigation and heated seats......leave that for MR2 and Porsche Boxster boys*

  • joke, I know how touchy Porsche driver get!
Sounds like a very nice car, you'll have no trouble selling it.
