Noble- Attention from public is surprising...

I know old threads have mentioned this but as a fairly new owner (I waited 6 years to get one)it blows my mind as my previous cars have included 3 Evo's and an Escort Cosworth which all received the odd comment.
I'm adjusting to people filming the car and taking pictures (especially kids). It's all quite positive so far but it's getting attention I never planned for or thought of. Guess it makes you feel special to own such a car but it takes some getting used to as I'm kinda a low key person, ha.
It's funny as I read a review with the following. What car is that? How much does it cost? How fast does it go? It's so true and pretty much in that order.

Fortunately they're worth more than the sum of their parts so stealing one to break is a little pointless. Taking one and giving it a new identity is also unlikely to happen as there are so few that a new one on the scene would stick out like a sore thumb. It doesn't have enough seats for idiots to joyride in, and it takes ages to get in & out and there's no boot so rubbish as a getaway car. Stop worrying, no-one is likely to steal it!
I've never had any trouble vandal wise,but get use to people hanging out of car windows trying to take photos of you and then theirs the one's who jump out at traffic lights trying to take photos of you too especially in France....ha ha

Got stopped at the petrol station by one guy then another one came over in the end the car had its picture taken 4 times!! Had the passenger of an MR2 hanging out of his window at 70mph filming the car. Going down the moterway the other day with Sarah following me she said that quite a number of cars slowed down in the outside lane to have a better look. My favourite experience was on a hoon from Goodwood seeing a little lad at a roundabout jaw drop with so many Nobles going by. Had things done to my Lotus but all ok with the Noble so far!!. Happy motoring.
funny u mention this, I have only ever had positive comments on my car, and never been treated like a flash f

I purchased a 3R in June last year, however my previous cars are as follows; a fiesta, a fiesta, a fiesta and a fiesta. Hence why Ive still not got used to the attention from the Nob!
It puts a massive smile on my face when you get a thumbs up, which is always returned with a blast of the rather loud horn

That's so true. In the last few weeks I've had more people do this than any other fast car I've driven..
It's nice to know there seems a healthy respect for the Noble. So far that's definitely what I'm finding. It seems to be more admiration than jealousy. My Brother in law collects classics and has a Ferrari Testarossa and Lambo Countach and it's a different reaction those cars get. it seems the usual Aston, Ferrari, Porsche etc can bring out negativity at times.
You can mingle with the supercars and Evos alike, so many times i have seen my friends with fezza and lambos get looks of contempt from the street racers, the Noble gets approached by the same people with curiosity, if somebody buys an Evo or GTr then they are generally petrol heads and appreciate the Noble.
Noble owners can get away with it because yes sure they are not expensive cars, we are not advertising wealth...no badge snobbery... its like the AK47 of the performance car world....it is a very basic but effective design and will blow your frigging head off...you just need to keep it well oiled....

Its not exactly easy to blend in with the crowd, especially in Monza Red I find. 
But don't own a Noble if you want to blend in.
Like others, I've only ever had positive reactions. Lots of jaw-dropping, pointing, clapping, videos, photos and conversations at the petrol pump. And various people requesting a pax ride, which are occasionally granted after a careful assessment of the individual...
