Discussion
My friend's dad is looking to locate his old Ford hotrod, I believe it is still on the road.

Does anyone know of this car?
Thanks.

The car IS definitely on the road in the UK. Checks out as on the road and insured.
You could try the DLVA but I am not sure if they will help in such a case. Contact details are normally available if damage to another car occurs or such like when the owner of the damaged car will get the details of the other car providing the DVLA think this is bone fide.
I suggest an enquiry to the clubs for Hot Rods.
I looks like a Jago body to me. I am old enough and daft enough to have built some original Jago Hot rod cars. There are Jago clubs and supporters who will have an excellent knowledge of existing cars about. Best bet I suspect.
I wish, about once a week, that I had one NOW!!
Still cant complain as I have three Classic Minis, including a Cooper Convertible with a 1800 K series twin Cam set up, a Dutton V8, two Robin Hoods and several other in bits.
As well as my Wolseley 15/50 1954.
But no Hot Rods. I NEED one!! I did say I was daft.
Good luck indeed. I hope you find the car.
