What is the gold coloured stud/bolt left of centre in the picture?

Looks like a sensor port or a hole for attaching a test probe.

Just had a look on real OEM and you can see it but doesn't show what that plug/component going into it is so could well be some sort of test point?

Strange that real OEM doesn't show a part for the actual brass colored plug though

Yeah I had a look there too. Like you say, maybe a place to attach gauge to check oil pressure?

Agreed, that looks like it might be the filter, usually they are silver though.
