Any Nurburgring Track Days Mid-summer?
Discussion
I am looking for a good full day or two day track day at the ring during the summer months when there is a good chance of sunshine (well as good a chance as you can get in the Eifel mountains!). I have been with Destination Nurgburgring before and their days are great, but the dates this year are in March or October. I have done the usual web search but can't find anything. Anyone know of any for this summer?
The 'Ring haven't release any information on public days for July onwards, and there is also supposed to be less track days overall as the 'Ring management want to sell them to the industry pool instead - and it's been mentioned that Nissan have been buying up any capacity.
There are other trackdays though - on 18th June and 20th August.

RMA have been offered a few spaces at some track/test days the day before some of the VLN races at the Ring in summer. Not organized by us and not for the faint hearted or novices as there will be cars testing and doing hot laps for sponsors also! It is a full day though so if you're brave enough?

both have an english site, too.
Thanks for the posts - I don't mean to sound greedy but all 4 of these are half day events - 8:00 till 13:00, which I suppose is still 5 hours of track time, but its along way to go for 5 hours and its highly likely the track will be closed for some of the that time aswell! I was really hoping for something like the DN event last year which was 2 full days!03.08.2012 - pistenclub.de

Sorry, didn't check.... Will let you know if I stumble across a full day and/or back to back days. Nürburgring has become difficult to deal with lately and industry-days are on the up, hence the shortage me thinks but then again its still early days in 2012.
When we asked last year, we were 'promised' a friends-only private day (60 people max) there this year (on a Monday or Friday at about €35k for the day).Unfortunately as the time has come to plan it all we're getting the 'sorry, but no' response from them, and to keep checking with them. Got the same response about the industry pool taking more and longer days too.
Doesn't make it easy to plan holidays around it when you don't know when/if you'll have a date, and if it goes on much longer we'll just have to change the plans and go to Spa or Circuit de Catalunya, but it's not the same.

If you are planning a holiday & are prepared to go as far south as Spain, have you considered Imola - bit Ring-ish, brilliant weather, nice countryside and food obviously. There is a double header (Sat & Sun) each year. Both the Ferrari & Lamborhini Works are not far at all, could combine with a tour - well worth it.
Last year there were quite a few Brits, too - but you would still have to put up with us Kraut lot, lol.

I mentioned Catalunya as I've got friends who live on the coast, about 5 miles away, so I combine it with a visit to them too.

I mentioned Spa as we always watch an afternoon of racing/practice on our way to the 'Ring anyway, and they've started doing 'tourist' days too.
