When 330bhp isn't quite enough....... go get 420
Discussion
Like a prat I bought a new Evo X back in November, as I thought it would tick all right boxes, but at a fraction of the price of a "normal" car for me.
As a lesson to all, it didn't, so today I picked up my nice shiny new M3. It's a revelation, just what I was after originally. Thankfully a bit of hard negotiating meant I didn't lose out too much on the Evo.
Happy days.
Piccies will follow once I see it in daylight, or if there's any interest.

What did you not like about the EVO X?
Just too hardcore to be practical for me. Suspension was a bit of a pain, but liveable. Grip and drive, especially when "making progress" were exceptional. The true killer was the thimble sized tank, I need more than a 170 mile tank range and filling up every day was a PITA. I'm not bothered about economy, but it just felt like I was always planning the next fuel stop moments after filling up. Plus the SST was a bit jerky, it felt like an SMG box form 10 years ago.Btw, loved the gizmos in the SatNav screen though, especially the voice recognition on the phone, it even compensated for my monotone Northern drawl.

So is this a new M3 you've bought or an AUC one?
