Not to 'poo-poo' someone's P&J but this is certainly not my kettle of fish, and the ad doesn't help.

Apparently:

"THIS CAR HAS ALL THE X FACTOR AND WILL TONGUES WAGGING YOU WILL BE THE TALK OF YOUR TOWN"; alas for all the wrong reasons.

I'm not a Porsche expert or connoisseur, but, what's wrong with it?

Admittedly the description isn't particularly well written and it isn't nice to have a cars credentials shouted at you but it does appear to have had some work done to it...? It's only a 3.8 and obviously isn't an RS but they're only stickers aren't they? Anyone who's in the market for something like that will (hopefully) know what they're looking at.

This place was mocked on another thread, most likely the Horrors in PH Classifieds thread. All their cars have the same crappy advertising style.

Supercharged 3.8 S, 520bhp with lots of GT3 bits for 40k, doesnt seem too overpriced. Just a shame about the writing style in the advert.

Did Porsche supply the car with the Supercharger? That's the 1st time I've seen that other than a RUF.

Re-reading this, i'm inclined to agree with you. Not my thing but if the shouty blurb is to be believed, it's a pretty good setup. Especially:

"CAR HAS HAD FITTED FROM PORSCHE GT3 RS BRAKING SYSTEM,FULL GT3 RS SUSPENSION, GT3 RS EXHAUST STRAIGHT FROM MANIFOLD,VORTECH SUPERCHARGER, GT3 RS FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS, GT3 RS REAR SPOILER"

God only knows what to cost to fit all that was. But yeah, I wind my neck in; for the money, you're buying a lot of kit here unless its been absolutely ragged.

If you actually read the lines themselves, you'll discover that it isn't.

Forget the car who the hells working in the motor trade these days, should be hung drawn and quartered for such a ridiculous write up.

Ah "AA Performance", if you look at their website then the write-up is pretty standard. I guess they hired all the local out of work estate agents to their copywriting team.

Not my cup of tea writing style but from a marketing perspective it's done what it was supposed to, drawn attention to the car!

Looks like they took the normal ad (note that sentances that actually use lower case), then ADDED LOTS OF UPPERCASE SHOUTING TO TRY AND MAKE IT SOUND LIKE SEX ON LEGS. Personally, the advert makes me want to stear clear.
Sounds like any visit would be like dealing with Swiss Toni from the Fast Show.

I honestly would not go and look at any car that they were offering.

I have no idea why but a writing style like that just indicates to me that if any problems were to rear their heads, you would be firmly on your own.

just curious, so what does 520 at the wheels equate to, 600-620 at the crank? also automatic even higher transmission loss than normal right?

Car doesn't look bad, makes Koll's Ruf seem like a bargain.
