Hi,

I have had Range Rover Vogues for about 8 years and my present one is getting long in the tooth a 04 plate with 105000 miles. It is a 3.0L Straight Six.

Wife now prefers a Sport. Is it necessary to go for the TDV8? I will probably buy an 08 or maybe an 09.

Thanks

Yes... smile

There's a reason why we ALL wax lyrical over how much better the TDV8 is over the TVD6. wink

Go for a test drive & see for yourself.

I have had both, 1 x TDV6 & 2 x TDV8, V8 any day!! Can't understand why they dropped the V8, a fabulous engine,

...coz they never made one!

Oh, you mean the 4.4 TDV8? wink

It depends who you talk to: Some say that the 4.4 is too tall to fit in the engine bay...

...others say that it was decided that as the 3.0TDV6 is pretty much just as powerful as the 3.6TDV8, it wasn't needed.

...but others think it's a cynical ploy to differentiate between the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport.
