My credit card is red hot!! Have just got off the phone to Tim at ACT, having placed an order for a new set of coolant, induction, emission etc silicon hoses. Shall report on the progress as it happens.... I can hear the suspense and eagerness growing - Watch this space. Pete

Have you got any "before" shots? I'm interested to see how much difference it makes to the engine bay...

I'm tidying up the engine bay on mine but i don’t want to go too "bling" with it - just nice & subtle...

Good man thumbup
Looking at changing all my induction hoses too. Have you gone for a different air filter as well and, if so, what one?
Thinking about the K&N option scratchchin

Hi Pete,

Tim's kit is awesome but be careful it's like a drug...

I started the same way, 'I'll just do the hoses'... then within 3 months ended up with his full induction kit, chip, carbon plenum, larger injectors, larger airflow meter, leads, new exhaust system and Dyno Setup...

Then a few months on I finally 'convinced' myself to get his complete stainless steel manifold set which I am 1/2 way through fitting as it is too bloody cold in my garage to get finished at the moment!

Also too busy working to pay of the Credit Card which took a spanking, the funny thing is that Tim did not try to sell me anything, when it comes to this car I can't seem to help myself...

Hi all, thanks for the messages. I am just getting back to the land of the living literally!! I had to call 999 on Wednesday evening after parking up on my way home from work with severe pains in my back, had a blue lights and sirens trip to a specialist hospital in Basildon as I was diagnosed as having a heart attack, if it was not for my quick thinking and the skill and speed of the ambulance crew would not be here now!!! Had a micro surgery emergency op where a stent was fitted. Am home now recovering and feel great in comparison, just need to take it easy for a couple of weeks, which means NO driving. Wife was worried sick and had the trauma of not knowing one way or the other until I came out of surgery!!!

I shall take some pictures of the before probably in a weeks time, and then when I am able (probably a month) replace the hoses. Am looking forward to getting the ACT gear even if all I can do is look at it. All the best, Pete

P.S. Can't wait to get out in the Griff, but as snow is forecast here, and she is in the garage under her nice warm cover can't complain too much.

Brilliant job by the NHS, there when you need them most. Just like our cars, we all need a bit of TLC from time to time. Speedy recovery and happy days ahead when the weather clears up. Glad you're on the mend.
