I'm getting rather frustrated trying to deal on a Boxster Spyder. I've got a max budget of £40K but am happy to pay less!

If anyone wants to point me in the direction of a good deal you have my full attention. I'm quite keen on the Porsche East London car (Nov 2011), but we're a grand away from a deal and my budget is firm. Maybe if it's still around at the end of the month I'll have better luck.

Email me please... markpierce1@btinternet.com

I've never been that patient I'm afraid...especially as I've got the cash spread all over the carpet in front of me (not literally, it's in the bank!).

I kind of agree with what you're saying but £40K really is my max. I've got to draw a line somewhere and I don't like having loans for cars - too easy to lose a lot of money!

Thanks for the link. Been there before and to be honest I think that it's a bit pricey at sticker price given the deals you can get from Porsche.

Much appreciate the thought though smile

Try PMing Phooey/Phucker.

He was looking to move his on - not sure if he still is but worth a try?
His is silver, black wheels, buckets, PSE, PCCB and looks stunning.

Personally, I can live without the PSE but it must have the carbon bucket seats and ideally Spyder wheels.

Have you tried other methods of closing the deal, like an extended warranty, PSE or next service free?

Already has remainder of 3rd year warranty and really the way ahead for me is to get it at £40K. I know a thousand pounds sounds relatively insignificant but it's already at the top of my available funds.

Ok, I'm tight! smile

Spyder is my preference purely because it's a roadster. If the deal is right I'd also consider a Cayman R though.

I love the Cayman R but it's hard to stomach the depreciation.

List with extras circa £60k.

Used with 1-2k miles and they're £45k.

Used with 3.5k miles and they're sub £40k.

Although it would be nice to have a newish car you can see them being £30k next Xmas with the new Cayman due in September.

Not really been looking at Cayman R's too long but everything I've seen is quite a bit over £40K with the exception of a couple of low'ish spec OPC cars at £42/43K.

Are you really saying that you won't pay 41k for the 767 mile 2 month old black car at East London with PDK, satnav, sports chrono etc.?

It's hardly dear is it? I really would be amazed if you could do better.

You can have mine for 40k but it's nearly done 7000 miles :-) it's got PSE though!

I agree, it's a good deal, but I have a budget.

If the choice was between yours with 6000 more miles at £40K then I'd find the extra grand wink
