Rather than clog up my previous thread, I thought I'd start a new one.

In brief, dad's having a new orangery built (6x5m) and is wanting to order some ceiling speaker to connect to his sonos system. (They'll be powered by a sonos amp/player)

At the moment we're thinking of ordering a pair of B&W CCM65's. RRP is £300, but we've seen them for £230 online.

The other option that has been recommended by several on here are the Monitor Audio C165's.
I see there are also C265's, are these much better?

What would you go for if you looking to install a pair of ceiling speakers? (doesn't have to the either of the above)

Thanks!

Thanks. Dad's favouring the B&W's at the moment, but I thought I'd that we weren't missing any other options.

Would you (or anyone) recommend trying to install an additional subwoofer, or should the pair of ceiling speakers be okay on their own?

I have ceiling speakers all over the house except in more critical listening areas.

IMO if you are even considering the possibility of a subwoofer then ceiling speakers are not the way to go unless usage is purely home cinema (and in celing LCRs are not ideal anyway).
