External temp display on 993

Where is the external temp probe situated in the 993?
Had some interesting readings yesterday after filling
it with fuel and re-setting the OBC. External temp was approx 14oC yet the display was showing in the 50's.
Not had this problem before, anyone else suffered similar readings?

Yes had v similar after front pu off .......probe is n/side front and i guess mine must be faulty cos trying things around it cant 'cool' down
Luv to know any other answers pse ?
