Hot wing challenge
Discussion
After seeing the threads on here about eating challenges me and a few mates have deicded to do one tuis Saturday!
However I don't like the idea of eating copius amounts of cheap greasy food until you feel I'll and weigh 2 stone more!
So I have said I will make each person 5 super super spicy hotwings and if you can finish all 5 in 10 min you win an icelolly!
I was thinking of marinating them in daves insanity sauce with diced scotch bonnet chillies for 24 hours and then giving them a dry rub of salt, pepper, chilli flakes and chilli powder before cooking!
And other suggestions of how to make tasty but bloody hot wings?

I think the trick to super hot wings is all in the sauce you toss them in at the end of the cooking process rather than what you marinade them in.
Straight from PHs own BBQ thread: when raw leave to marinade in a rub of: brown sugar, salt, pepper, cumin, coriander, paprika, hot chilli powder, onion granules, mustard powder, garlic (garlic salt or granules maybe) mixed herbs. Adhered with French's American mustard.
Then cook (personal preference is to griddle to get that charred taste then finish in the oven) as has been suggested once cooked liberally drizzle in some sticky based mixture. I figure a honey and ready made hot sauce blitzed with some fresh chillies for that fresh clean taste should do the trick.
Maybe a dipping sauce on the side? Melted butter, hot sauce, blitzed chilli, paprika and cayenne (and maybe some hot chilli powder?)
This sounds like it could be a great weekend of experimentation - Google Wing Sauce and get researching!

Went to asda, saidnsbury, morrisons and tesco to look for Daves insanity or anything equivalent but no luck
(any idea where stocks it?)
Anyway, I dug out all my hottest sauces and made a but of a hotsauce/chilli flake/scotch bonnet/ pepper cocktail

Mega hot wings at top, semi mild at bottom!

So they are now tucked up in the fridge for 48 hours marinading.
Now I just need some mega hot sauce to toss them in after cooking, any ideas?

asda sell daves round here, its like £1.70 or something like that.
failing that, order some super hot sauce of off www.scorchio.co.uk they have some of the hottest you will find as well as less hot, kinda between very mild chilli jam and 1.6 million schoville extract.
EDIT: k, i just clicked on that link and it doesnt work for some reason, but if you type it into your address bar it works fine :/

That Kobayashi guy is amazing. He holds loads of eating records and is a skinny 128lbs. I watched a documentary of an american hot dog eating contest with all these huge fatty yanks who could 'only' eat 25. He came along and stuffed 50 in 12 mins. Thats a bun and hot dog every 14 seconds!More here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takeru_Kobayashi
