Scrap car collection in Herts

Anyone know of a company who'll collect a non-working car near Hemel Hempstead, and ideally pay me money for it?

I've found a couple on Google, but a recommendation would be preferred...

I am in Welwyn and have the same issue! Just stripping my car and would like someone to lift it as its not going to have any suspension soon.

There is a guy I work with, his mate is a bit of a scrap man, they have collected cars etc before so will help you out. Based in Hemel on the hill up towards tesco, sure they could take is as soon as you want?

Do you get a local paper?

If so there will be people advertised in there. I got 130quid for a smashed up Pug last year. Came within the hour.

You could try getting a price for it from www.cartakeback.com, they give you a price instantly when you put your reg and postcode on the website and there's no charge for collection.

Thank you Becky the website has quoted me £175 which is a massive result for my stripped Galaxy!
