Final Fantasy 13-2

So who has ordered the limited edition set?
Can't decide whether to get the normal one or limited and only have about 4 hours to decide!
Either way - will be getting it tomorrow so I will report back if it's any good

After playing the demo they appear to have fixed all that was wrong with FFXIII
So we now have actual shops, diverging plotlines, nonlinear gameplay, towns with people you can talk to, side quests, all that jazz.
Let's be honest here they're never going to be able to repeat FFVII, FFXII was close I hear, haven't played it myself.

I loved FFXIII - IMO when they changed the battle system to a more dynamic one (in XII), it improved the series for the better.
I like the concept of 'rare' enemies, and enemies you have to spawn as well (though this was only applicable in XII).
Have the normal version of XIII-2 ordered, should arrive tomorrow. Should make for a good weekend!
I did feel that the storyline lacked a bit in XIII though, and there weren't enough likeable characters. This new one is supposed to be more open-ended again though, so that should be better. Linearity doesn't really fit RPGs.

I only recently got round to playing FF13. I hated the linearity, the lack of involvement in battles, enless 'grinding' required, and hundreds of tedious cut scenes to learn the story rather than actually talking to people. I stuck with it for some reason and doing the hunting at the end was more fun. However it is the worst of the series I've played. If they've made the new one more involving then I'm interested!
OK - so I went for the standard version in the end - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004K1ERTU/ref=...
It should be here before 1pm!
