James - how is yours coming along?

Think mine might be going to Jetstream soon for refurb alloys, thorough service and some Tuxman racing carbon mods - infils and maybe a splitter too.

tucked up in the garage still for the moment. trickle charger not connected but think it will be by next week. frown

its getting there mate. had a bit problem last week with regards to being sent wrong pistons so just waiting for the right ones to arrive then can all be finished. :-) but likley to get a driving ban at end of the month so no rush. lol just been enjoying the new lil toy over past 8 weeks but it has got me in trouble with the plod. oops

Could not justify getting rid my Impreza P1 - as I'm only the 2nd owner since 2000 and it still surprises me when the weather is bad and the roads are fun!!!

One of my mates had a civic type R a few years back. They are great fun.

Shame you won't be able to keep up with the might of the Impreza though wink

Universal Turbo's have my old T28's - they kept them when I bought my GT2860RS's.

I've just spoken to Chris (01425 656900) about them and he says they are still there.

They will need a refurb, but are already stripped and inspected.

Tell him I mentioned them to you if you decide to give him a call. smile

Regards

Graham

How do the GT25's bolt on any different from the GT28's ?

Ye but only go down the GT28 route if wanted to get lots of power, i'm just refering to the GT25 as an replacement option for the T28's a nice 500bhp car.

I think so because 500bhp is good power, and the GT25's will be a very responsive compared to thwe T28's.

T28s are good for 550 though so it's not really worth all the extra hassle getting the right oil/air/water fittings needed for the GT's when aiming for 500.
