Engine 970cc, surely not an A series 970S ??
So what?
Would that pass IVA or whatever now?
I think it was Minispares or Minisport some years ago were doing one.
Always thought they were cute but not so practical. Hired one on holiday in Barbados, fun, but for every day ??
Also see its LHD.

Is it 970cc?

Its Chinese. Give them a 970S crank, rods and block in the post you could have 500 new ones by the end of the month!

I doubt it though.

But can you actually get them on the road in the UK as a new vehicle?

There is a picture of a Moke with it's bonnet open and it looks nothing like an A series. Almost certainly a generic Chinese car engine, possibly from the small vans like Suzuki Super Carry clones which have 970cc engines.

Always liked this type of vehicle. FUN and practical cars are rare now (OK only a little bit practical). Used to be a big part of the British Kit car industry, I think the Scamp is more fun. It has a better club, run by a lot fun people who love their cars.

Will the kit car industry ever do this again? I do not know but a Chinese one could be fun.
