After the slow ingress of Residients Parking Schemes and the mindless revenue raising of the Parking Attendant. Are we entering another phase of raising revenue form the 'easy target' motorist?
According to my local, well informed mechanic, there hes been a recent massive rise in the cost of car parts in general. I'm not talking a few quid or percent - but big numbers 30,40 up to 100% increases!
I understand that the good old annual MOT test is going to be extended to cover a lot of cars electical and electronic parts - some of which have no effect on the usability or saftey of our cars. Parts which can cost silly money to replace.
Do we have an alternative maybe we could buy older simple cars - oh dear they all got gobbled up in the scrappage scheme.
I have a horrible feeling we are being massaged towards buying new cars and changing them every three year - or when the warranty runs out.
