Evening chaps and chapettes,

got a work trip from Rochester (Kent) to Maldon (Essex) and back to London tomorrow. Anyone know of any fun roads/ routes to seek out along the way?

Would like to try and stay awake during the trip, so motorways are preferably avoided driving

Head M25, A127 (don't go on A13 as nightmare roadworks at Sadlers Farm r/about, take A130 to first Junc with South Woodham Ferrers. Follow signs to South Woodham Ferrers, follow signs to Burnham on Crouch (B1010 I think). When you get to North Fambridge turn left up hill towards Latchingdon. Straight over 2 mini r/abouts and you can follow the signs to Maldon. (If you do have time on way, head out a little further on the B1010/B1018 towards Southminster and Tillingham, look on the map and find the road from Tillingham back to Althorne and enjoy. This is one of the best roads in Essex!)

Thank you gents. Had a great trip to Essex and back. Took in the road toward Tillingham aswell, and all those 90 degree bends were great for heal and toe, although I preferred the flow of the road back along Steeple Road (the one above the B1018 which loops back toward Maldon).

Weather was perfect aswell. Nothing like a relaxing hoon to end the working week yes
