Before I start I would like to say that I own both these games, enjoy them both and sometimes post about them here. Recently though, especially with Forza, it seems to be taking the games category over and any potentially interesting threads are getting pushed down the pecking order within a few hours.

I remember a guy moaning about this before and at that time it didnt really bother me, now though its just a waste of time coming in here, I mean the Forza guys are terrible. 1/3 of the last two pages (10 pages out of 32)are about Forza, therefore surely this game is deserving of its own sub category, im fed up of seeing "XXXXX* - Race series" etc.

*Im sure a thread has been made for every single car on Forza

Don't like it, don't come in.

FM4 has a massive following on here....you just have to get used to it.

In fairness though they and BF3 / MW3 are the biggest games in the PH community. It's only 4 pages back to get to topics from Sunday. It doesn't take 2 minutes to scan the weeks topics and find stuff that may or may not interest you.

So because I dont want to post about Forza all the time, I shouldnt come in the Computer games section? Good one, Considering 34/36 of your posts in the last 30 days have been about Forza I thought it would benefit you.

Is it really to much to ask that they all get put in a sub foler? By the looks of things most people only come in here to post about Forza therefore wouldn't it be beneficial to all if they were grouped together?

A similar thing happened to the Football/Sport category.

The Official
Hot Hatch
Vintage Trans Am
Japanese
Endurance
Nations Cup

These are the main FM4 topics that get discussed and will always pop back upto the top naturally as people compete in them.

Although I do like the idea of having a virtual racing championships section and understand where your coming from.

I have to say, now that I'm not playing GT5 all the time, I've noticed that it's almost pointless coming in here. It's not that there aren't enough threads on other topics, it's just that nobody posts in them (presumably for the same reason I've stopped coming in here as much).

It actually makes me wonder if having options for how many threads are visible at once would be possible (like the ability to display 80 posts instead of 20). It'd be nice to have 50-100 threads on each page rather than the current 20, and would remove the need to go back pages in cases like this one.

It's a psychological thing; when going back pages of threads it makes you think 'I'm spending too much time here', which I wouldn't get if I were only looking at one larger page.

And there was me thinking this was goingt to be a topic comparing the two types of Performace Points in GT5 and Forza. Nope, it's just a moaning session.

How strange that threads for a game heavily featuring cars and modifying, should appear on a motoring forum that heavily features cars and modifying? confused

You're wrong, there are about 550 cars in Forza, we've only really scratched the surface. It's a public forum where people are free to post what they like (within reason) as you have done with this thread, you don't have to read them.

You would swear i am saying to delete the Forza posts? I am simply stating grouping them together would increase usability and enjoyment for EVERYONE?

To be fair i agree, i'd prefer a forza section, would make it easier to find forza stuff so don't think tuvra was moaning about forza really.

Thank you, it would be hypocritical of me to moan about it in general as I post in some of the forums from time to time, when 1/3 of the posts being created in such a large field are related to one subject, surely it warrants its own forum sub section though.

I mean Curry Burns is a prime example, he wouldn't use the "Computer Games" category if there was a "Forza Section", 34/36 of his posts would be in there. Therefore if there was a "Forza section" it would be easier for him (and similar people) whilst also improving the section for those that ain't in to Forza.

I'm not being funny or at all serious but the only reason Forza threads out number any others on the first page is because of this one, Battlefield 3 would otherwise have the majority and I hate shoot'em'ups. But isn't all this a non issue, there are a lot of gamers about who enjoy playing a lot of different games therefore a section for all games that doesn't exclude one inparticular would make more sense, oh wait, that's what this is!

Difference with Battlefield (and others) is its on various platforms and different people visit the different threads for obvious reasons, FM4 is on Xbox only and the threads usually feature the same core group of people in every thread.

Um....maybe because they are car mad PH'ers who have Xbox's and Forza?

Thats like saying the people in the track day section who go track day racing should stop posting in there because they are always the same group of people!

Pointless arguement!
