My T350 has the factory fit Pioneer DEH-P3600MP head unit fitted. Does anyone know if this has any connections on the back of it to allow me to use my Ipod with it? Save me from ripping it out to look.!!!

Cheers Sandy

I was going to say no but according to the manual it does.

You can buy an interfcae that plugs into the iBus port (used for the cd multi changer. I use something similar on mine to connect my MP3 player

Have the details at home if nobody replies sooner.

Yep, you can use a Pioneer IP Bus to 3.5mm Jack cable. Pull the unit out and attach IP bus connector to IP socket in rear or unit, lead can come out under the dash and attach to ipod (usually keep it in the area where the cig lighter is). Make sure AUX is selected on the head-unit.

Quite a few of us did this a year or so ago and got the cable from e-bay @£6ish. I've found a link here:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PIONEER-HEADUNIT-IP-BUS-...

A very good cheap upgrade.

The links to the audio upgrade discussions can be found here:

Hope this helps. thumbup

Not sure about that, check carefully - the lead I (and others) used (as per the link in my post) has the IP BUS connector with the holes in (ie. female end) to plug into the pins in the rear of the head unit(male end).

Your link looks to have a 'male' 13-pin end adapter (pins) so not sure it will work. See if you can find an online manual for the pioneer to check specifics at rear of the unit. The one you have shown says it will work with head units AVH-P5900DVD, AVIC-D3, AVIC-D3BT, DEH-P4900IB, DEH-P490IB, DEH-P5900IB, DEH-P590IB, DEH-P5950IB, DEH-P6900IB, DEH-P6900UB, DEH-P690UB, DEH-P6950IB, DEH-P7900BT, DEH-P790BT, DEH-P7950UB, DEH-P85BT - is your model one of these?

The one you show would be ideal as it will charge the ipod as well.......

EDIT - just seen your head unit model number in the original post - isn't listed as a compatible one in the e-bay ad you posted........

No probs. You can download a manual here for the DEH-P3600MP if you don't have one:

As long as a Pioneer unit has a P (DEH-Pxxxx)at the start of the model number it has the IP Bus connection which means you can use a Pioneer CD-IB100 module (ebay, I just bought one for £25) to connect an Ipod. So in the OP's case yes the module will work fine
