does anyone know where i can order one of those tax disc holders, the metal one thats on there at the moment? i ordered one off the TVR site a while ago....and promptly misslaid it! can't seem to find it on the net anymore?

Car engine on it's way down to David Batty's as we speak!!! So much grief with the OMEX ECU - not to be recommended from my point of view in so much as the after sales service is non-existent... probably should have stuck with the original ECU as it was fine but....looking at over 300bhp now and of course a huge bill.

Like the sound of 300bhp, hate the sound of large bill . Must see it when its up and running .

Just had a though is it a V8D lump , if so was it bench run-in and what did it knock out on the bench dyno .

If its on its way now, it can't be more than a couple of weeks to get it up and running, I'm sure DB will pull all the stops out for you, it is a V8S after all .

Off course - hope to have it ready by the S meet (David Batty permitting!!!). Need to have gear box overhaul and then ....

Just checked my previous emails as it sounded familiar . I would like to think it was the harryW 'tried and tested' exhaust bits that pushes it over the magical 300 mark . Going by the build spec nearer 285 would have been normal. Discounting the Omex that is :;rolleyes:.

Hope the OMEX has some benefits - we have been waiting for it's 'results' for 5 months now... as soon as we get final spec (& reasons for it) will post details.

Sorry if I'm sounding a bit vague - Kevin has had all the conversations with V8D as I've been away.... now he's not here...Am sure he'll post more detail next week....

I sent Kevin a mail regarding the 'wheel' that we had previously discussed, not sure if he got, but realise he is away.
