Wouldn't Start
Discussion
Hi Forumites!
Just wondering if anyone had a similar experience to me recently, with respect to starting.
The car is a 997.1 C2S and has recently been exhibiting the "no response" when the ignition key is inserted, I have read recent threads regarding this and thus far resetting the alarm/immobiliser has worked. However yesterday evening after being parked at work all day, I turned the key and the engine started immediately, ran for about 3 secs, at which point I heard an audible click, and the engine stopped. This happened for about 5 times, and then on the final attempt, just as I was about to resign and call Porsche assist, it started and stayed running. No prob since
Any thoughts? A faulty relay comes to my mind, maybe exacerbated by the cold (it was -2.0)
