Despite me emailing the dealer several times before I bought the car the V5 has just arrived with my christian name wrong on the V5.

What's the form her, 'sell' myself the car is an obvious one I can think of!

Look in the V5, where there is a section for corrections. Make corrections. Send back. Wait until new V5 comes back with necessary correction, with no need for selling the car to yourself, and no extra owners added.

Thank you, probably could have done myself but just got home after a long lunch. Appreciated!

Years back we bought a bike, sent off for the V5 and then to tax it had to apply again for the V5 at the post office. A week or so later the V5 turned up, a few days later a second V5 turned up, one with the name slightly different (think it was one with first + surname and second with first, middle and surname), misspelt and the registered owners incremented by one on the second.

I phoned the DVLA who sorted it out in about a 10 minute call. Which quite frankly I was shocked at.

So give them a call, they might just advise you fill it in and send it back, they might just sort it out!
