MX-5 - On the M25 today....
Discussion
What a true hero of a man, -2 degrees recording on my car and he is sat doing 75 on the motorway with the roof down! Caught up again much later on in heavy traffic...still with the roof down.
Whoever you are sir, you have my ultimate respect! was hoping to get level with you to give you a thumbs up, but traffic never allowed me.
Keeping it vague as I saw the same thing a couple of weeks ago...credit to all you mx-5 drivers...

Does the MX-5 roof fold down easily even if it's freezing?
I've had the roof down in my MR2 roadster this winter a fair number of times when it's just above freezing, but it is a bit stiffer than usual.
The mohair one does, the vinyl one not really, you'll crack the plastic screen and it's recommended to not be folded in freezing conditions.I've had the roof down in my MR2 roadster this winter a fair number of times when it's just above freezing, but it is a bit stiffer than usual.
If mine is still snowy/frosty when I put it down, I just leave the heated screen on a little longer to prevent it sticking together!

I had my vinyl MX5 hood down as it was pliable after the sun had been on it, but i left it too long in the evening and it went rigid. In the end i had to pour hot water over it so i could shut it. After getting water in the car a hair dryer might have been better.......
oops
That's dedication for you! oops

Hats off to all of you chaps!
